Photo Friday: James Stewart, WWII Hero

In honor of the 8th Anniversary and in remembence of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 here in the United States, I also decided to share this video I found on YouTube about Hollywood movie stars fighting in World War II and doing their part as American citizens and fighting for our country. The film is called 'Everybody Joins the War Effor' and was released in 1942. Be on the look-out for adorable Jimmy looking awfully dashing in his military uniform.

Decades

I've decided for the next few months to do "decades" polls. As in, your favorite Jimmy movie forom each decade, etc. So we're going to start off September with Jimmy's first active decade in films, or, Your Favorites 1930s Jimmy movie.

3. Again, there's a tie for last place. Coming in last, each with 0 votes, was Rope (1948) and The Man who Knew Too Much (1956). Both are still good movies.




2. Vertigo (1958) came in second place with 2 votes. I was kind of surprised, since this is considered by most people to be one of both Jimmy's and Hitchcock's best movies.


1. In first place is Rear Window (1954) with 4 votes! I was happy it won, but certainly wasn't expecting it!
