But are the Warner Archive DVDs any good?

Because rarely is a poster likeness of him so accurate, right down to those gorgeous blue eyes:


By the way, has anybody seen this movie? Well, now you can, thanks to the Warner Brothers DVD Archive.

Carbine Williams is just one of the three rare Jimmy films that have been released by the Archive thus far. The other two titles are The Shopworn Angel and Malaya.

On the edge about buying DVDs from the new Warner Archive (like me)? Based on the video clips from the Warner Archive Shop, the quality actually seems good and clear.

I'm sure I'll be buying at least the Jimmy DVDs anyway, since I haven't seen any of them yet.

Update: It Appears TCM is selling most titles for $17.99. Might be worth doing the math with shipping & tax.
